Atrium Medical Center’s HEAL Program to Host Free Family Festival
Middletown, Ohio, May 28, 2013—Atrium Medical Center’s HEAL (Help Endure a Loss) program will host its fourth annual HEAL Family Festival on Saturday, June 8, from noon to 5:00 pm. The event will be held at Niederman Family Farm, 4972 LeSourdesville-West Chester Road, in Hamilton. (In case of inclement weather, please call (513) 705-4056 to find out if the event has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 9.)
The festival is dedicated to families who have known life’s greatest tragedy—the death of a child. Bereaved families whose children die seldom allow themselves the opportunity for a little joy and pleasure in life. This family outing is meant to do just that. In a fun atmosphere for all ages, there will be free games, activities, entertainment and food, as well as a “Silent Auction” and “Split the Pot” raffle. To kick off the event, a member of Team Fastrax will skydive into the festival between noon and 12:15 p.m.
Those who want to test their skill at paintball during the event can visit www.paintballcountryohio.com or call (513) 779-3228 for information and costs to play at the largest paintball facility in the tri-state. In addition, the HEAL Shoppe will be open with a large selection of HEAL items for the entire family. All proceeds will be used to support ongoing HEAL services.
