At Atrium Medical Center we know cancer patients often find comfort in the support of others who know what they are experiencing.
Look Good…Feel Better
Connect with other women facing cancer while learning to cope with the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Through the American Cancer Society’s Look Good…Feel Better program, a trained cosmetologist teaches skin care and make-up techniques, as well as how to pencil in eyebrows, position wigs and utilize head wraps and hats.
Participants receive a complimentary kit of make-up products that includes everything needed for the skin care and make-up process.

Also known as the Lebed Method, Healthy Steps is an internationally renowned exercise and movement program designed to aid in the physical and emotional recovery of patients with cancer and cancer survivors.
Healthy Steps helps restore range of motion, enhance physical and emotional balance and reduce swelling from lymphedema. The classes are set to music and designed for sitting and/or standing. The program has been found to be beneficial for people with cancer and other chronic conditions, including arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It is also beneficial for senior citizens.
The program emphasizes improving your emotional self and enjoying the experience! All fitness levels are welcome.
