Funding Priorities for Atrium Medical Center Foundation
To advance our mission of building healthier communities in southwest Ohio, Atrium Medical Center Foundation first identifies pressing health care needs in the region that the hospital can help to meet. Then we focus our fundraising efforts on these priorities to make the most effective use of dollars, volunteers and staff time. Of course, donors always have the option of directing how their gifts will be used, regardless of the current campaigns.
Since our founding in 1984, the Foundation has invested more than $13 million in southwest Ohio communities. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of caring donors, funds raised have helped to put a mobile mammography coach on the road, purchase a da Vinci® robotic surgical system, open a new Heart Center, advance care for patients with stroke and other neurological conditions, enhance cancer care, improve care for women and children, and more.
Tomorrow’s Promise: Continuing the Legacy
As we complete our first 100 years of service, Atrium Medical Center already is preparing for our next century of health and wellness, which holds even more potential for building healthier communities. Over several years, the comprehensive Tomorrow’s Promise: Continuing the Legacy campaign will support targeted areas that will enhance health and wellness for our patients and communities in the years ahead:
- Enhancing geriatric services for seniors at Atrium through the Fulfilling a Promise to Our Elders [link to new campaign section] campaign
- Behavioral health
- Nurse navigators to improve continuity of care for patients
- Campus improvements to promote community wellness
- Endowments to provide permanently for our communities’ health care needs
- Expanding care to underserved areas
We invite you to learn more about our current funding priorities and to make a donation.
