Campaign for Neuroscience and Stroke Program: Moments Matter
When you lose your ability to talk, or move your body, or think clearly, you’ve lost a lot.
Strokes, brain injuries, dementia, neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis, and head and spinal cord injuries occur all too often, robbing individuals of their independence and shattering dreams.
Fortunately, here in southwest Ohio, Atrium Medical Center provides expert, compassionate care for these patients.
Atrium’s Emergency Trauma Center, the region’s only level III trauma center, is always ready to provide immediate, skilled care to patients experiencing a stroke, heart attack or life-threatening head and spinal cord injuries.
Our Stroke Program is one of only 18 in the state to be certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, earning the Gold Seal of Approval™ for stroke care. Atrium’s Rehabilitation Center helps people relearn the skills they’ve lost with the support of a talented team of experts.
Atrium is doing a lot for patients with debilitating brain and spinal cord disorders. Now we want to do more.
It will take all of us working together to help suffering patients build confidence, achieve independence and function at their highest level. That’s why we’re asking for your support.
