The Demand for Sports Medicine
Sports medicine is a rapidly increasing market, with a growing demand from all age groups as the level of participation in sports continues to climb. With an increase in youth sports, the number of sports-related injuries also continues to rise. Of the more than 40 million emergency room visits per year, at least 10% are sports-related.
