Spiritual Care

Atrium Medical Center (Atrium) spiritual care recognizes the link between your physical, emotional, and spiritual health with your general well-being. While physicians and nurses take care of your body and mind, our Pastoral Care Department is here to provide spiritual assistance to you, a family member, or a friend.

Members of the Atrium Pastoral Care Department are available to assist you 24 hours a day, regardless of your religious tradition. Please feel free to take advantage of our services day or night. 
 
Full-Time Chaplain

We provide a full-time chaplain to assist you spiritually. Our chaplain is board certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains, is an ordained minister, and is trained to help provide individual spiritual support. The Chaplain is available in the hospital Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (513) 420-5185. Just ask your nurse to call for you.

We're Always Here to Help

We have organized a group of clergy from the community to help our chaplain provide continuous coverage, seven days a week. Our volunteer, on-call chaplains are available to respond to emergency situations at night and on weekends.

Interfaith Chapel

We provide a chapel for all faiths here in the hospital for a quiet place to meditate and pray. Located in the Atrium lobby near the elevators, the chapel is open 24 hours a day for patients and visitors, and includes inspirational literature and confidential prayer cards.

If you wish, we will notify your clergy, church, or synagogue of your admission.
Because we respect your right to privacy, we will not contact anyone unless you request this service.
