Diana E. Small, MD, Pediatrician, Pediatric Section Head
Diana Small, MD, is currently the Chair of the Pediatrics Section at Atrium and has been a partner of Children’s Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio, since 1985. Dr. Small is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Small’s residency in pediatrics was fulfilled at Children’s Hospital of Akron in Akron, Ohio in 1984. She earned her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in Toledo, Ohio in 1981.
Irene Herrmann, RN
Irene Herrmann has been an RN and the immunization resource person at MCHC since 1993. She is responsible for keeping information current on government immunization requirements, and implements, and maintains an active reminder/recall system for patients.
In 1972, Irene received her Diploma of Nursing from the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, New Jersey.
From 1974 to 1975, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Jersey Shore Medical Center. She was a Nurse in the Post-Partum Unit and Labor and Delivery. From 1972-1974, she was an RN at the St. Barnabas Medical Center.
From 1976 to 1993, she was an RN in the Pediatrics unit. During that time she provided patient care for infants, children, adolescents, and adults. She is certified for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Mary Beth Morgan, RN, Staff Nurse
Mary Beth Morgan has been the Staff Nurse at Atrium MCHC since 1996. She is responsible for the day-to-day care of patients including case management, and patient and family education. She facilitates and coordinates all referrals to specialists. She also gives immunizations, assists physicians with procedures, and supports patients via phone.
In 1987, Mary Beth earned an Associate degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts. She is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program in Nursing at Indiana Wesley University.
From 1988 to 1991, Mary Beth was an Orthopedic Staff Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Beginning in 1991 and continuing until 1996, she was a Staff Nurse at Good Samaritan in Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Special Care Obstetrics, Post-Partum, and the Mother-Baby unit.
