Middletown Regional Hospital Welcomes New Physician
Middletown Regional Hospital (MRH) is pleased to announce that Emad Alshami, MD, psychiatrist, has recently joined the hospital medical staff.
Dr. Alshami earned his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at University of Virginia School of Medicine Center for Healthy Aging in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Alshami is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in psychiatric care for adults and geriatrics. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Geriatric Psychiatric Association.
