Meet the Atrium Medical Center Imaging Services team.
John C. Weske, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Weske graduated from the Uniformed Services of Health Sciences in 1998. A former Major in the United States Air Force, Dr. Weske completed his internship in 1999 and his diagnostic radiology residency in 2006. Both programs were at the David Grand Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.
Dr. Weske received his medical degree in 1998 at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. He was affiliated with Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2006, Dr. Weske is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Rhonda Seidenschmidt, BS, RT, (R), (M), Director, Medical Imaging
Rhonda received her AAS in Radiologic Technology in June, 1994, and received her BS in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in June 2008. She is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and mammography with more than 18 years experience in the field of radiology.
Rhonda has been with Premier Health since 2004. Prior to her current role, Rhonda held the position of manager of Ambulatory Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology at Atrium.
Melissa Curtis, BS, RT, (R), (M), Manager, Ambulatory Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology
Melissa earned her Bachelors Degree in radiologic science from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. She is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and mammography.
Melissa has worked in the Medical Imaging Department of Atrium for 24 years. Prior to her current role, she was a lead technologist for 15 years. She oversees Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography and Atrium’s offsite imaging centers in Middletown, Lebanon, Mason and Springboro. She has strong knowledge of daily operations along with extensive experience with the radiology information systems.
Kelley Brandel, Manager, BA, RT, (R), (CT), Special Imaging
Kelley earned her Bachelors Degree from Miami University. She is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and CT. Kelley has worked in the Medical Imaging Department at Atrium for 18 years.
Prior to her current role, she worked as lead CT technologist for five years. As the manager of Special Imaging, Kelley oversees CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology. She has a strong knowledge of daily operations.
Pam Fordyce, PACS Administrator and Manager of Support Services
Pam Fordyce has worked at Middletown Regional Hospital and Atrium since 1988. Throughout the years, Pam has served in a multitude of roles at the hospital, including Radiologic Technologist, Manager of Offsite Diagnostic Services, and Manager of Patient Access.
Pam currently manages support functions for all areas of the Imaging Services department. She is also the PACS administrator and the Atrium Imaging representative for information technology initiatives.
Freddy Katai, MD
Dr. Katai is an interventional radiologist who performs venous radiofrequency ablation
and other procedures. He earned his medical degree in 1986 at University Hospital of Wales and completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. Dr. Katai also completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. The author of several papers, Dr. Katai has received honors and awards from University Hospital of Wales and University of Wales College of Medicine.
