David Floering, MD, Medical Director of Laboratory Services

David Floering, MD, is the Medical Director of Laboratory Services and the Chemistry, Microbiology, and Coagulation Sections at Atrium Medical Center (Atrium). Prior to joining Atrium in 2000, Dr. Floering served at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH as the Medical Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and performed his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Jan Schuster, MT (ASCP), Administrative Director

Jan Schuster coordinates the technical and administrative functions of all laboratory services. She is responsible for coordinating and integrating services across the continuum of care and for the provision of high-quality and cost-effective care. She is also responsible for ensuring that patients and physicians choose the services of Atrium and that employees build careers with Atrium. In addition, she is charged with ensuring that the values of Atrium—respect, integrity, compassion, and commitment to excellence—are maintained.

Cynthia Griffith, MT (ASCP), Manager of Technical Services

Cynthia Griffith supervises and coordinates the technical aspects of the clinical activities of the laboratory staff in multiple areas. She is responsible for the 24-hour function of these areas.

Jo Ann Duncan, MT (ASCP), Manager of Support Services

Jo Ann Duncan supervises and coordinates the support functions of the laboratory staff in multiple areas. She is responsible for the 24-hour function of these areas.
