James R. Adams, JD

James R. Adams, JD as a retired councel at Frost Brown Todd, he remains a valuable resource to the firm.  He practiced in the litigation area and represented clients in a wide variety of complex civil business and commercial litigation with emphasis on accounting malpractice, securities fraud, class actions, antitrust fund and mass torts.  He is a graduate of Denison University and received his JD from Northwestern University School of Law.  In 2008 he was a recipient of the John P. Kieley Professionalism Award given by Cincinnati Bar Association to a litigator for lifetime achievement.

Ralph Conrad, JD

Ralph J. Conrad, JD, has over 20 years of experience advising business and individual clients in the areas of tax planning, estate planning and Medicaid planning.  He earned his BS degree from Ohio Northern University, majoring in accounting, and has law and Master of Tax degrees from The University of Akron.  Ralph is Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association Elder Law Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of ProSeniors, Inc., and member of the American, Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations.

Coyne, JD is an attorney with Graf & Stiebel.  He represents clients in estate planning, trust and estate administration, elder law, estate and gift tax controversies and contested trusts and estate matters for nearly 15 years.  Ken is a graduate of Miami University and Emory University School of Law.

Sue Denny

Sue Denny, public affairs specialist for the Social Security Administration in metropolitan Cincinnati, serves as the liaison between the agency and professionals and other third parties within the community.  Ms. Denny received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 and was one of 300 outstanding graduate students around the country selected for the federal government’s Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program.

Jason M. Farler, CFA, is a Principal/Portfolio Mgr. with Johnson Investment Counsel.  He is a graduate of Miami University with a degree in finance, and earned his CFA designation in 2004.  Jason serves on the boards of the Duke Energy Children’s Museum and is current Chair of the March of Dimes Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Division. In 2008, he was named as one of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty Under Forty” award recipients.

Paul Fiorelli, JD

Paul Fiorelli, JD, MBA currently serves as director of the Xavier's Center for Business Ethics and Social Responsibility. He previously was a tax attorney for Ernst & Whinney and began teaching at Xavier in 1983. Fiorelli has won numerous teaching awards. In 1998-1999 he was selected to become a Supreme Court Fellow and worked at the United States Sentencing Commission, focusing on questions of organizational ethics. During his fellowship year, Fiorelli received the Thomas Clark Outstanding Fellow Award from Chief Justice Rehnquist. Fiorelli has written extensively on ethics and culture.

William M. Freedman, JD

William M. Freedman, JD, represents clients in the areas of employee benefits, health care, and estate and federal taxation for his firm, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, in Cincinnati. A graduate of Harvard Law School and an adjunct professor of health law and policy at Xavier University, Cincinnati, he lectures extensively on these subjects.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry.

Anne Schumeyer is a Director and Vice President for PNC Delaware Trust Co. She supports individuals and families in designing customized Delaware Trust relationships, an area in which she has 24 years of experience. Anne graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in economics and is an honors graduate of the Northwestern University Natl. Graduate Trust School.

J. Truitt Smith is a Certified Pension Consultant through the American Society of Pension Actuaries.  He has specialized in pensions for more than 35 years.  Smith is a member of the LOMA Pension Committee, the ACLI Pension Committee, and past president of the National Pension Directors Association.  Currently he is Vice President  – Pension Sales at American National, specializing in small business planning and providing turnkey design, administration and funding of small business pension plans.

John Venturella, JD, CPA

John Venturella, JD, CPA is a Shareholder in the Miami Valley office of Clark Schaefer Hackett. He is an expert in the area of corporate taxation and has served as CSH’s Tax Committee, which is responsible for formulating the firm’s tax policies and procedures.  John earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ohio Northern University and a Juris Doctor, with distinction, from its Petit College of Law. He currently serves as President of the Middletown City School Board and US Bank’s Butler County Advisory Board.
