James R. Adams, JD, a retired counsel at Frost Brown Todd, remains a valuable resource to the firm. He practiced in the litigation area and represented clients in a wide variety of complex civil business and commercial litigation with emphasis on accounting malpractice, securities fraud, class actions, antitrust fund and mass torts. He is a graduate of Denison University and from Northwestern University School of Law. In 2008 he was a recipient of the John P. Kieley Professionalism Award given by Cincinnati Bar Association to a litigator for lifetime achievement.
Michael D. Barnes, JD
Michael D. Barnes, JD serves as President of Johnson Trust Company, a subsidiary of Johnson Investment Counsel, Inc. He also serves as President of Johnson Charitable Gift Fund, a public charity. Michael is an attorney with experience in estate and charitable gift planning and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Prior to joining Johnson Trust Company, Michael practiced corporate and banking law and worked for several universities as a charitable tax planning specialist.
Theresa Busher has been a public affairs specialist for the Social Security offices of greater Dayton and Springfield since 1999. She has experience processing all areas of Social Security benefits, including retirement, disability, and survivor claims. Currently, Theresa acts as community liaison, media spokesperson and public education coordinator. She authors numerous Social Security columns for print media, hosts a Social Security program through the Miami Valley Communications Council, and trains her fellow Social Security colleagues in public speaking and outreach. She is a graduate of Miami University. Prior to joining Social Security in 1993, she taught English to adult learners in Madrid, Spain.
William D. Cass
William D. Cass is director of Wealth Management Programs at Putnam Investment. In this role, he is responsible for developing and delivering wealth management-related content, educational programs, and marking initiatives. He speaks regularly throughout the country to groups of financial advisors and investors on a wide range of financial planning topics, focusing on areas such as effective retirement income strategies, tax legislation developments, personal risk management and efficient wealth transfer. Cass currently holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 26 and 63 licenses, and is a Certified Financial Planner professional. He has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 1990.
Ralph J. Conrad, JD
Ralph J. Conrad, JD, has nearly 25 years of experience advising business and individual clients in the areas of tax planning, estate planning and Medicaid planning. He earned his BS degree from Ohio Northern University, majoring in accounting, and has law and Master of Tax degrees from The University of Akron. Ralph is Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association Elder Law Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of ProSeniors, Inc., and member of the American, Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations.
Samuel M. Duran, JD
Samuel M. Duran, JD, is a partner in the Cincinnati office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where he heads the firm's Workers' Compensation Practice. He has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law. Sam represents management in the areas of workers' compensation, intentional tort, and retaliatory discharge. His practice includes representation before administrative agencies, the Courts of Common Pleas, Courts of Appeal, and the Ohio Supreme Court. He has been retained as an expert witness on workers' compensation law and is a frequent speaker on workers' compensation, intentional tort, and retaliatory discharge issues.
William M. Freedman, JD
William M. Freedman, JD, represents clients in the areas of employee benefits, health care, and estate and federal taxation for his firm, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, in Cincinnati. A graduate of Harvard Law School and an adjunct professor of health law and policy at Xavier University, Cincinnati, he lectures extensively on these subjects.
Michael A. Hirschfeld, JD, MBA
Michael A. Hirschfeld, JD, MBA, is the former Chair of Graydon Head Legal Council Executive Committee. His practice has concentrated on the representation of closely-held businesses and their owners/operators, assisting entrepreneurial and family companies in connection with financing and venture capital, technology transfer and protection issues, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, domestic and international distribution, employee issues, shareholder disputes, and succession planning for management and ownership, as well as advising health care organizations. Mike represents both domestic companies in their international expansion and foreign companies entering the United States.
H.T. Skip Liddell, CLU, ChFC, LLIC, CLTC
H.T. Skipp Liddell, CLU, ChFC, LLIC, CLTC, entered the insurance industry immediately after graduating from Georgia Tech in 1972. During his early career he served as an agent, agency manager, recruiter and trainer in the field. He entered the LTC market in 1987 and was a producer and trainer for a national marketing company in Georgia. In 2000 he founded LTC Solutions, Inc., a marketing, consulting company with a focus on the LTC industry. To date over 23,000 students have participated in CLTC training. Liddell has spoken at numerous industry events and has also consulted with the top LTC insurance carriers desiring to grow their LTC business.
Christopher J. Mallon
Christopher J. Mallon is a Regional Marketing Director within Putnam Retail Management. In this role, he is responsible for serving Financial Advisors and Financial Institutions, primarily in central and southern Ohio. Prior to this role, Mr. Mallon served as a Senior Regional Marketing Associate. He has also served as a Dealer Marketing Associate and Client Service Representative, providing product and account information to clients and financial advisors. Mr. Mallon, who currently holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses, has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 2005.
Candice DeClark Peace, JD, CPA
Candice DeClark Peace, JD, CPA, is a Shareholder in the Miami Valley office of Clark Schaefer Hackett and a former agent with the Internal Revenue Service. A graduate of University of Cincinnati and Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, she is a recognized expert regarding taxation planning and compliance, estate planning and litigation in business valuation, lost wages and profits.

Andrew Neil Singer, JD, has practiced in the areas of estate planning and administration for 36 years in Butler and Warren counties. A graduate of Miami University and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, Singer continuously gives back to the Middletown area through his commitment to several community boards and committees over the past 35 years..
Dale A. Stalf, JD
Dale A. Stalf, JD, heads Wood & Lamping, LLP litigation group and focuses his practice on the prosecution and defense of business disputes in the state and federal courts and administrative agencies and through the use of alternate dispute resolution techniques. Stalf served in the Army as platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division, prosecuting attorney for 1st Armored Division in Germany and attorney-advisor in the office of General Council to the Secretary of Defense at The Pentagon. He has over 30 years of experience with distinguished awards from AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Best Lawyers in American and Ohio Super Lawyers. Stalf is a graduate of Xavier University and received his Juris Doctorate from University of Cincinnati..
