To Our Donors
I’m energized by the opportunities for Atrium Medical Center to embrace your needs in the months ahead.
When you or a loved one needs medical care, our dedicated team is at your service, striving to bring you the highest level of care — every person, every time. In the past few months, we’ve introduced new ways to improve your life. We now offer a full-service Electrophysiology Lab, greatly expanding diagnostic and treatment options for patients with an irregular heartbeat. Our new pulmonary rehabilitation services help people with chronic lung disease live more active lives.
Men and women who suffer from pelvic pain and bowel and bladder control problems can now find relief with specialized physical therapy at Atrium. And those with varicose veins have a new treatment option — venous radiofrequency ablation — with less pain and quicker recovery than surgery. In 2013, we’ll bring you even more innovations focused on your needs.
Stay Connected With CarePages
To help our patients stay connected to family and friends, we now offer CarePages, a free, personalized and private web page to keep in touch before, during and after a hospital stay. We know it can be challenging to share the latest news with all the important people in your life when you’re undergoing treatment. Funded in part by Atrium Medical Center Foundation, CarePages makes it easy for patients to get the emotional support that’s so critical to healing.
Grateful Patients
We believe our promise of excellence demands not only outstanding medical care, but also the human connection, compassion and kindness one person can offer another. So when patients take the time to tell us we not only met their medical needs but also made them feel comfortable, safe and truly cared for, we are thrilled.
Now, the Foundation’s new Grateful Patient program offers an easy way to “pay it forward” and express gratitude to caregivers who made a difference. You can direct your Grateful Patient donation to a particular fund or specific program, or request that it be used for the hospital’s greatest need. We will notify the person you are recognizing, and if you don’t remember his or her name, we’ll help you find it.
Thankful for Generous Donors
The number of Heritage Society members who have included the Foundation in their will or estate plans continues to grow. Truly, they are touching the future through their planned gifts. To each of them — and to every Foundation donor — I offer my deepest gratitude.
Sincerely,

Carol J. Turner, FACHE
