Atrium Medical Center Offers Free Prostate Screenings
Middletown, Ohio, August 26, 2009 – In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Atrium Medical Center is offering prostate exams for men on Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All screenings are free and include a PSA blood test and a rectal exam by a doctor.
Prostate cancer is one of the most curable forms of cancer in men—if it’s caught early. An annual prostate screening is recommended for African American men over age 40 and for all other men beginning at age 50.
Prostate screenings will take place in The Compton Center at Atrium Medical Center. Please enter the campus at the South Entrance and turn left at Campus Loop Road. Convenient parking is available in Lot E close to The Compton Center entrance.
