Middletown, Ohio, September 8, 2009 – Women’s health experts at Atrium Medical Center are offering three free women’s health seminars to empower women to take charge of their health.
“At these seminars, we’ll share with women about the latest options for prevention, early detection and treatment of breast cancer, so they feel comfortable and well informed when making decisions about their own breast care,” explains Kira Schofield, MD, medical director of the Wilbur & Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center at Atrium.
Care for Women at High Risk for Breast Cancer
Thursday, September 17 – 7 p.m.
Learn about factors that may increase your breast cancer risk and find out about genetic testing and genetic counseling for high-risk women. Discover your current options for early detection and learn about the role of prophylactic (preventive) surgery.
