Atrium Hosts HEAL Walk to Remember
Middletown, Ohio, September 17, 2010 – Atrium Medical Center’s Help Endure a Loss (HEAL) Program will host its twelfth-annual Walk to Remember at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 3. The event will take place at the HEAL Memory Garden on the Atrium Medical Center campus. Anyone who has been touched by the death of a child, regardless of age or circumstance, is invited to attend.
The HEAL Memory Garden, located along the walking trail on the east side of the hospital, is a quiet place where families can go to remember and celebrate the life of children who left us far too soon. It features the Angel of Hope monument, a nationally recognized symbol of hope and healing.
The first Walk to Remember was held in September 1986 and now continues in communities throughout the United States.
RSVPs are requested but not required. For more information about this year’s Walk to Remember or the HEAL Program, contact Sheree Young at (513) 705-4056.
