Atrium Medical Center Volunteers
Atrium Medical Center (Atrium) volunteers are an important part of our team. Approximately 300 adult and 50 junior volunteers assist in over 40 departments and service areas at Atrium. Their assignments may be in areas as diverse as the Emergency Department, the Family Birth Center, the pharmacy, or they may be floor volunteers on various nursing units. Others may find their perfect volunteer opportunity at Atrium’s Dialysis Center, Maternal Child Health Center, or one of the hospital's other off-site affiliates.
Making a Difference
Whatever the assignment, Atrium volunteers enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they make a real difference to patients, hospital staff, and the community.
Last year, Atrium volunteers donated more than 61,000 hours of service to our patients. Volunteer greeters helped people find their way around the hospital. Friendly faces calmed anxious children in the emergency room. Nurturing Family Birth Center volunteers celebrated with new parents.
Hundreds of volunteers provide a personal touch that improves the quality of care our patients experience at Atrium. Volunteering at Atrium is a positive and rewarding opportunity for you to give back to the Butler and Warren county communities.
