Medical Staff Office

The Medical Staff Services Department at Atrium Medical Center coordinates the credentialing and/or privileging process for more than 425 members of the medical staff and allied health professional staff.  The department follows credentialing standards mandated by federal and state government, and accrediting agencies such as The Joint Commission, ISO and NIAHO. 

Medical Staff Services provides physician orientation for new or returning medical staff members and provides medical staff verification information in response to requests from all third parties.  In addition, the department manages meeting support services for the Medical Executive Committee and various medical staff committees, as well as the medical staff newsletter, on-call schedules, social functions and medical staff treasury.
