Behavioral Health
The Behavioral Health Pavilion at Atrium Medical Center provides expert behavioral health services to residents of Southwest Ohio.
Our 36-bed Pavilion offers both inpatient and outpatient adult services and specializes in care for older adults. Attached to the Medical Center, the Pavilion includes its own parking and separate entrance.
Designed by behavioral health experts, our Pavilion provides a safe and supportive setting for focused individual, group, and family therapy. The facility includes separate units for inpatient and outpatient clients. This allows our staff to develop a program specific to the unique needs of each of our patients.
Our Older Adult Inpatient Program serves older adults facing behavioral health challenges later in life.
The Structured Outpatient Program at the Pavilion provides a flexible alternative to hospitalization. Clients may also use the Program to transition after leaving the hospital.
Services
Our Older Adult Inpatient Program for clients aged 65 and over provides 24-hour supervision in a therapeutic environment.
We offer:
- Memory impairment assessment
- Medication management
- Psychological testing
- Individual and family therapy
- Physical, occupational and speech therapy
- Group therapy
- Multidisciplinary assessment
- Recreational therapy
- Discharge planning
Our Structured Outpatient Program provides intense psychiatric support while clients remain in their own home.
This program may include:
- Psychiatric and medical evaluations
- Medication management
- Group psychotherapy
- Individual and family counseling
- Psychological testing
- Memory impairment evaluation services
- Interventions
The Pavilion collaborates with the Mental Health Boards of Butler, Clinton, and Warren counties to assure that clients receive care after discharge. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.
