Atrium Medical Center to Bring New Services to Mason
MASON, Ohio (April 5, 2018) - New urgent care services and an expanded primary care office will open at Atrium Health Center Mason on Mason-Montgomery Road by the end of August this year, as Atrium Medical Center continues to meet the evolving health needs of the Mason and Deerfield Township communities.
The current emergency center at Atrium Health Center Mason will be converted to a Premier Health Urgent Care Center. Premier Health announced at the end of 2017 plans to launch urgent care services to bring new access points throughout Southwest Ohio this year, and so far, four locations have opened in Englewood, Miamisburg, Springboro and Vandalia.
Urgent care sites are the latest way in which Premier Health and Atrium Medical Center are providing patients with convenient access to care. Other recent moves to expand access include the rollout of E-visits and virtual care appointments with physicians, which allow patients to access medical services from wherever they are.

At Premier Health Urgent Care, board-certified advanced practice providers stand ready to treat minor illness or injury. Conditions treated in urgent care settings include cold, flu or sinus infection, as well as sprains, strains, minor burns and rashes.
Atrium Health Center Mason is an approximately 44,000-square-foot health center at 7450 Mason-Montgomery Road. The building also houses Premier Health Family Medicine, a primary care physician practice; the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness, an OB/GYN physician practice; and medical imaging and laboratory services including X-Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and women’s imaging services.
An expansion and remodel of Premier Health Family Medicine’s office is already underway, which will see the practice expand its floor space from approximately 1,600-square-feet to 8,100-square-feet. The expansion will allow the practice to add more primary care providers and allow Premier Health Family Medicine to accept more new patients.
