Electronic Medical Record

Our advanced technology and facilities integrate real-time diagnostic results, a unified medical record system, simplified test ordering, and improved patient care.

Premier Health’s MyChart electronic medical record system allows you to see your test results from the comfort and privacy of your own computer or other connected device.

NOTE: Test results will be sent to the patient's doctor as they become available. It may take up to a week depending on the test/study ordered.

Enhanced Visualization

The advancement of medical imaging visualization technology at Atrium Medical Center provides precise, anatomic images that assists in the diagnosis of a patient. Medical visualization is the use of computers to create multi-dimensional images/models from medical imaging data which provides enhanced and detailed pathology. Modern medicine relies on the multi-dimentional imaging that is possible with advanced technology of ultrasound, MRI, CT and PET/CT to identify abnormalities.

Benefits of multi-dimensional imaging:

  • Early detection
  • Radiation dose optimization
  • More rapid and improved diagnostic confidence
  • Replaces more invasive diagnostic procedures; reducing the risk of complications
  • Improved health outcomes
  • Easy to read visuals for the patient

3 Dimensional imaging technology is used for Mammography.

All-Digital Medical Imaging/PACS Digital Storage

All diagnostic images at Atrium Medical Center are captured and stored digitally to be reviewed through the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS). Digital imaging eliminates the need for hard copies of files and films. This technology eliminates problems associated with hard-copy files, including lost files or multiple physicians needing the same file at once. This technology provides a higher-quality diagnostic image than film, allowing for a faster and more accurate diagnosis.

Image-Guided Technology

The sophisticated breakthrough of image-guided technology, combined with the skill and knowledge of a radiologist, provides a broader range of treatment options. Image-guided procedure allows for real-time intervention that has many advantages:

  • Minimally-invasive procedures
  • Reduced hospital stay
  • Quicker recovery

The fast-growing popularity of this technology provides better outcomes and supports various departments:
