Atrium Employees Give From the Heart
When it comes to caring, Atrium employees walk the talk. In addition to fulfilling their professional duties with skill and compassion, they also donate financially to support Atrium Medical Center Foundation and its mission of building healthier communities.
Since 2005, caring employees have given more than $400,000 to strengthen patient care and support coworkers. In 2010, they contributed nearly $60,000 to the Daisy Award for Nursing Recognition, the Imagine a Cure campaign for cancer care services, the spring celebration event and other ongoing projects, and the Friends in Need (FIN) Endowment Fund that helps Atrium employees face some of life’s unforeseen crises, such as a house fire, serious illness or a spouse’s layoff.
In 2011, employees are participating in the Little Blessings campaign to make a difference in the lives of newborns and their families and in 2012, employees are establishing the Atrium Caregivers Memory Garden.
