Kevin Burch, JD is an employee benefits attorney at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP with extensive experience advising on benefits matters, ranging from executive compensation, health and retirement plan requirements under the tax code, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and PPACA. He counsels clients on IRS and DOL audit issues, termination, merger and spin-off issues, and corrections under various governmental programs including EPCRS, VFCP, and DFVCP.

Jeffrey R. Clark, LUTCF, ACS, FLMI, CFS, joined Jackson’s Retirement and Wealth Strategies Group in September, 2011. A frequent industry speaker and author on retirement design, funding and sales, Jeff has addressed the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP), and others. Jeff has also written articles for the CPA Journal, the Journal of Financial Service Professionals and other industry periodicals. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Canisius College of Buffalo, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, with a minor in Accounting.

Ralph J. Conrad, JD, has over 25 years of experience advising business and individual clients in the areas of tax planning, estate planning and Medicaid planning.  He earned his BS degree from Ohio Northern University, majoring in accounting, and has law and Master of Tax degrees from The University of Akron.  Ralph is Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association Elder Law Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of ProSeniors, Inc., and member of the American, Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar Associations.

Sue Denny, public affairs specialist for the Social Security Administration in metropolitan Cincinnati, serves as the liaison between the agency and professionals and other third parties within the community.  Ms. Denny received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 and was one of 300 outstanding graduate students around the country selected for the federal government’s Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program.

William M. Freedman, JD, represents clients in the areas of employee benefits, health care, and estate and federal taxation for his firm, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, in Cincinnati. A graduate of Harvard Law School and an adjunct professor of health law and policy at Xavier University, Cincinnati, he lectures extensively on these subjects.

Tina Gregory, RN, BSN, CEN, EMT-P is a director of Emergency Trauma Center & Behavioral Services at Atrium Medical Center. A graduate of Miami University, her previous experience as 911 Police/Fire Dispatch and paramedic helped her launch her nursing career in the emergency services in 2009.

Nicole Hanna, JD with Dismore & Shohl specializes in assisting private and public companies in the design, implementation and maintenance of qualitied retirement, non-qualified deferred compensation and health and welfare plans.  She is a graduate of University of Toledo and University of Cincinnati College of Law.

George D. Jonson, JD, began practice of law as an associate at Rendigs Fry Kiely & Dennis in 1983. In 1989, he joined Montgomery, Rennie & Jonson, where he most often represents defendants in civil litigation, but also has represented plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases, and in consumer class actions.

Scott K. Jones, JD, is a partner with Graydon Head with over 16 years of experience. His area of practice includes Business & Commercial Litigation, Employment Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Probate & Trust Litigation. Jones is a graduate of Miami University and University of Dayton School of Law.

Chad Maggard, CFA is a Portfolio Manager with Johnson Investment Counsel with nearly 10 years financial consulting experience. He is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and serves on many boards throughout the Dayton community. 

Beth Mandel, JD is an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl, with expertise in labor and employment law. She is a graduate of University of Michigan and University of Cincinnati College of Law.  

Peter D. McColgan is a Financial Advisor and Senior Vice President with UBSFS with more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. He worked at Smith Barney from 1990-2009 and began his career with Fidelity Investments in 1987. He is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and Marketing. He specializes in working with high net worth individuals and families, providing investment guidance and advisory services.

Dwight A. Packard, II, JD, recently joined Graydon Head and has nearly 18 years of experience in family law, commercial and business litigation.  Packard is a graduate of University of South Florida and University of Dayton School of Law.

Candice DeClark Peace, JD, CPA, is a Shareholder in the Miami Valley office of Clark Schaefer Hackett and a former agent with the Internal Revenue Service. A graduate of University of Cincinnati and Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, she is a recognized expert regarding taxation planning and compliance, estate planning and litigation in business valuation, lost wages and profits.

Joseph Santos is currently district manager of his office. He is a 1984 graduate of Miami University, with 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry.

William J. Schretter, MBA, CFP, CLU, ChFC, has been involved with the financial services industry since 1998, utilizing his skills in financial planning, trading, income tax preparation and securities industry compliance. He joined Key Private Bank in 2014, where he is currently a Senior Financial Planner. He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his MBA from the University of Cincinnati.

James N. Trifelos, JD is a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer with WesBanco and has more than 30 years’ experience as a practicing attorney specializing in trust, probate and estate planning as well as insurance and real estate.  A graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University School of Law, Trifelos has served appointments with US Federal District Court.

David A. Whaley, JD is a partner with Dinsmore & Schul and a member of Tax, Benefit and Wealth Planning Practice Group in the Corporate Department.  He assists non-profits, private and public companies in all areas of employee benefits.  He assists employers with complying with mandates of the Affordable Health Care Act and has extensive experience in the realm of Employee Stock Ownership Plans.  He received his BS and JD from University of Dayton. 

Brandon A. Zureick, CFA, joined Johnson Investment Counsel in 2011. He is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Strategist for Johnson Institutional Management. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Portfolio Analyst for Robert W. Baird. He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.
